About Us
S & J Tube specializes in steel fabrication and design. We operate two powder coat paint lines in house and transport product to our customer as needed. The majority of our product is used in the office panel and seating systems for one of the largest office furniture manufacturers in North America. Our goal is to develop and produce quality products with the best cost and delivery in the industry.
S & J is a company based on Lean Manufacturing principles such as waste elimination, just in time delivery, efficiency, and continuous improvement which all help to control our overall Quality and Cost.
We employ 5 Journeymen Tool and Die makers to help in tool design .
S & J Tube is registered with the Iowa Department of Labor as a National Apprenticeship Program for Tool and Die Makers.
Located in Wapello, Iowa, our facility has over 75,000 square feet of manufacturing space. S & J Tube has been in business since 1998 and has seen substantial growth since that time. We currently employ 100 members and remain a family owned and operated.
