Our Story
Rewind to December 1998. Jim Mott, a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker by trade, had been working in manufacturing for nearly 20 years. Jeanne Mott had worked as a Medical Technologist, for nearly 20 years. While Jim was working as a Tool Designer and Tool Room Supervisor, he had a vision to create a business. This vision was simple: supply better quality parts, at a lower cost, while maintaining a local presence with fast, regular delivery. Together Jim and Jeanne have worked to develop and establish the company that exists today.
Today, S & J Tube is a leader in steel fabrication and design. We are a company based on Lean Manufacturing principles such as waste elimination, just-in-time delivery, efficiency and continuous improvement. Our goal is to develop and produce quality products at the lowest price for our customers, using the simplest methods of manufacturing.
